Then & Now

It's so funny to look back at old pictures. Not only funny, but I feel like you forget a lot that happened in the past unless you be reminded. I know I always say that I am so ready to leave this town, but I could never imagine growing up anywhere else but Tupelo. It's such a "homey" place. You know you have grown up in Tupelo when you think Las Margaritas is the BEST mexican restaurant in the world; you lived on Yahoo Messenger during middle school, you were in the Reed's back-to-school ad, you would RUN to your car when the last bell rang for you to leave, you shopped at Doodle's as a kid, you wouldn't go to the mall on weekends because of the "out-of-towners", you never walk into Danvers and not know a single person, you wore Wallabee's everyday in middle school, you carried your binder to class, you spent your whole Junior year planning your Senior jersey; and there is soooo much more to list.

Looking at these old pictures is so interesting to me. So I'm going to share a few (or a lot):

Merry Little Christmas

I know this is July, but Christmas is my most favorite time of the year; AND this is my favorite Christmas song ever. No matter what season it is, I can listen to this song alllll the time. Judy Garland is so beautiful.

Cooking??...What?

I REALLY REALLY want to take a cooking class. Since I will be having my own kitchen instead of the "shared" kitchens in the dorms, I think I want/would like to cook more often! Am I crazy? Have any of ya'll ever taken one before? I may burn the place down...

Oh yeah, and I ordered this for my bathroom today! Shower curtain with ruffles...how cute.

Ra ra ra random.

Well, I see that a lot of people have commented on me creating this blog. Yeahhhhhh. And honestly...I never thought I would have done it. BUT, once I started, it's like...you. can't. stop. Seriously.
It is just so entertaining to go read other peoples blogs and the "stuff" they write about. I think I love blogging so much more because it's not like facebook, twitter, myspace, or anything like that. It is so much different. I'm not kidding when I say that all of you who don't have one, should really check it out! :)

(p.s...while I'm sitting here, Hank is laughing hysterically to The Office) not okay.

Anywho...

Is it bad that I don't want to go back to school?? Like yes I do want to go back and live in Starkville (CAN'T WAIT ACTUALLY)! But, the thought of classes starting makes me want to projectile vomit. I'm not a school person and am ready to BE DONE with classes forever.

Have ya'll ever heard of Etsy.com?? I may be the only one new to this, I really don't know, but it is such a great homemade/vintage website and you can find anything on there! I have been debating on some things I want to buy on there myself ;)

I'm thinking about buying this for my apartment......ohhh yes.

My kind of girl...

So, I know I JUST posted like an hour or so ago, but I was blog-reading and stumbled across this specific one: http://www.fromainsleywithlove.blogspot.com

Ok - I literally could not stop reading her blog. I am, believe it or not, a shopaholic and could look/watch/read about fashion ALL. DAY. LONG. It's just something that I truly find an interest in. So when I starting glancing through and reading her blog, I quickly noticed that it is pretty much all about clothes. Yesss! Go check it out...

Vegas Baby

Hey Everyone!
So this week has been super busy...and I know that the week to come (and weekend) will be even busier. I'm leaving tomorrow to go to New Orleans with some good friends, and I can not wait!!! I love that place (thanks to Betsy Ware)! Then next week, I will be preparing to move into my new apartment in gooooood ole Starkvegas. I am so super pumped about that! It's going to be so awesome to NOT live in the teeny tiny cramped dorms. Our new apartment is really nice too, so I am counting down the days until July 31st when we finally get to move in!

Since we are on the subject (kind of) I would love to sit here and tell all of you one more exciting thing I am looking forward to - And that would be.......FOOTBALL SEASON....which means...COWBELLS RINGING!!!!!! Since now, they are actually allowed in the stadium without sneaking them in. Yay, yay yay! I love everything about football season. The sport, the weather, the friends, the atmosphere...everything!

So as I'm ending this post...If anyone would like to donate furniture etc. to the Betsy Ware/Meri Scott Carpenter apartment fund...that would be great! Haha :)

Have a good week!

Hey, hey you...

I have to do a little shout out to mister Hank Waterer. Haha...because he made fun of me when I told him I was going to create a blog...Well Hanky Panky...HERE IT IS!!! :)

Newbie

Well hey everyone! I know, I bet you all are thinking...Seriously?? Is she serious about starting a blog!? Well...yes. I am.

So...the reason for this is: I love reading people's blogs. I am a very nosey person (I'm sorry, I just am) and I love reading people's thoughts and just plainly what's going on with them. So, I figured I would start my own and let everyone else know what's going on with me.

This is my first post, and it's super short, BUT I hope to post more soon.

Lots of Love,
MS
